 An embassy is a building or a compound housing a foreign ambassador's office and staff. It is the place from where a foreign ambassador deals with the diplomatic missions and things related to his/her country. If you want to visit a foreign country, then you need to go to the embassy of that country to get visa and permission to travel and stay there for a particular period of time. The embassy of a country serves as a link that brings two countries together on a common platform where they can share their views.
